Yellow: Solid Mouth-The solid mouth cows will be long solids with little wear.
Green: Short Solids to Spreaders-A short solid will have all their teeth but will be worn shorter than the solid mouth classification. Spreaders will be described as having spread at the gum line the width of two toothpicks or more. Cows with a severely chipped tooth fall into this category also. Cows in this category could range in age from 6 to 10 years old.
Red: Broken mouth to gummer-Cows missing one or up to all their teeth to the gum line.

RE: pregnancy checking policy
The definition of bovine pregnancy evaluation is nothing more or less than one veterinarian’s opinion about the pregnancy status of a given animal. Veterinarians attempt to make a judgment call based on a rectal exam, if two cows are breed on the same day their calving date could very as much as 30 days. In late gestation we attempt to age a calf by its size. The problem is trying to decide the weight of the calf at birth, a 65 lb calf at birth is going to feel a lot different than a 100 lb calf at birth and in the late gestation this can produce errors in judgment up to two months.
We will pull off late calvers to the best of our ability, however, calving dates cannot be guaranteed by us, any guarantee must be made by the seller.
